Eye Emergencies

Worried you might be experiencing an eye emergency? We offer urgent same-day care and may be able to see you more quickly than an emergency room or walk-in clinic. Call our office if you are experiencing any of the following emergency eye symptoms:

• Pain in your eye
• Flashes of light
• Sudden loss of vision
• Increase in floating spots in your vision (may appear as cobwebs)
• Unusual discharge from your eye
• Sudden double vision

Even if your symptom is not on this list, err on the side of caution and come in for a checkup. Eye emergencies can happen suddenly and waiting 24 hours may be too long. For example, a retinal detachment can cause fast and possibly irreversible damage to your eye without immediate attention. Don’t gamble with your eyesight – let us lookout for your eye health!
