Q: Hi Jesse, can you tell us a little about yourself?
A: I was born and raised in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, and moved to Ontario for school. I graduated from the University of Waterloo with my Doctorate of Optometry in June of 2016 and moved to British Columbia shortly thereafter.Q: As someone who’s new to the Island, what are some of your favourite west coast activities?
A: In my free time I love to surf, hit the mountains for snowboarding or skiing, camping, hiking, or anything outdoors!Q: What else do you like to do in your spare time?
A: I enjoy playing hockey, soccer, lacrosse, tennis and golf. I’m so excited to working in the greater Victoria area, and I can’t wait to forge lasting relationships with the Royal Oak Optometry community.

Dr Jesse Peterson was fantastic. He is knowledgeable, friendly, happy to answer questions. A real treat was not to feel rushed. He really took his time with me. His recommendations were given with explanations as to why but also made sure I knew what my choices were. Definitely the best eye appointment I have had in the last two decades. Shout out to the office staff as well who were both friendly and professional.
