Q: How long have you worked in optics?

A: I’ve been in Eyecare since 2001. I’d just graduated from Optometry school and begun working in New York City when 9/11 happened, and I found myself at ground zero rinsing out the eyes of firefighters who had escaped the World Trade Center collapse. I’ve enjoyed helping people see better ever since.

Q: What is your favourite pair of glasses?

A: My current favourite eyeglass brand is Evatik, and sunglasses brand is Maui Jim.

Q: Favourite activity to do in Victoria?

A: I have 4 year old twins and my favourite activity is teaching them to ride their bikes without training wheels at McMinn Park, and having them chase me in the river rapids at Panorama pool in Saanich!
